StackTV-for the athlete by the athlete is a website with Olympic Athletes preparing for the big event which begins 08-08-08. I can't wait, I love to watch the Olympics. Anyway, check it out when you have a minute. There are hundreds of videos like the ones below which show not only training routines but also their tips, ideas, and commentary on their training. Very interesting and potentially, a learning experience for the rest of us just trying to get a workout into our everyday, busy lives. Enjoy!
1. "David Marsh on Creating a Practice Routine"
2. "Mark Gangloff Supine Lateral Kicks"
3. "Training and Nutrition with Brandon Bass"
4. "Band Stretching Series with Katie Smith"
"Watch and learn the exercises and drills pros use to boost their performance"
Stay Well,
I am so going to enjoy the olympic training videos for exercise inspiration. I am at the beginning of my journey back to health and bloggers like you keep my hope high!
Thank you so much for joining the Be Naturally Well community of bloggers. It will make it so much easier for us to follow you!
Many Blessings, and thanks for all you do!

Loved video #4. We use jump stretch bands to aid stretching with many of our athletes and in our Boot Camps. Get some - they are awesome!

Oh, yea, I came across this site somewhere, and it's awesome. Talk about getting you ready to watch the Olympics and get inspired to do some serious training of your own! :)

I cannot wait until the Olympics starts in a few days too. I just love how all this training comes to a climax for these athletes. And you get to see all these different human body shapes. It is a great reminder that the thin ideal shown on the media is not the only body shape.

Shelley--I am always excited if I can motivate at least one person, other than myself, to get back in shape!
Dean- I agree, I usually include some type of band stretching in my workout as well.
FBG/Asithi--the thing about the Olympians is that it's about being fit, being strong, pushing yourself to reach goals and to work hard towards those goals--not about looking thin, having spotless skin, or being able to wear a skimpy bathing suit to the beach. I will watch this over any modeling show-- :-)
Thanks everyone for visiting!!

Are you sick of feeling tired? Fat? Or just plain out-of-shape? I was too until I came across this inexpensive, yet very effective workout DVD created by a trained martial artist from Wisconsin. Fred Nicklaus’ 9-Minute Combat Endurance Training program will help you feel great in a short amount of time. This intense workout will decrease your waist line and increase your overall health in just a few minutes per day! The workout was developed by a US Army Special Forces Major for his troops and it’s worked for professional athletes as well as women and men of all ages. The basic workout DVD is only $29. Check out www.combatendurancefitness.com to watch testimonials from real people who have gotten real results. If you want to be stronger, leaner, and healthier then you will love this workout.
